James P. O'Connor (June 12, 1924-January 19, 2011)

Thank you for the beautiful cards, flowers and gifts sent. Not a day will go by when we wont miss Papa. He was a wonderful, unique person. He always had a laugh and a story! It worked out perfectly for James and I to get to New York just after a snow storm and leave just before the next one! It was a memorable time with family. To bad it takes a death in the family to bring everyone together.

College

James and I were able to take a long weekend and take Kaitlynn to college. She is attending Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, CA. We were able to get her settled and had great peace about leaving here there. It is such a beautiful and warm college (both weather and in spirit). She is majoring in Music Education and has a job on campus in the dining hall. She just found out last week that she will be singing in the college chorale group and will be doing some touring around CA during the school year representing the college. We are so proud of her:) Christmas can't come soon enough:)

Girl Time!

We've had so much fun this summer with company in town. Jaimee (friend) from Wildomar, CA and Gerriann (our cousin) from Palmer, AK was here for 10 fun filled days. On this day we took them to Seattle and looked around Pike Place Market and the beautiful waterfront!

Oceanside California

It took us 19 hours for us to drive to California for Nathan Carlson's wedding! We were able to spend some time at the beach with Jordan, Zachary and Raeanna Carlson while we were there:) We had such a nice time with all their other family members also! The weather was perfect, at little over cast! Just enough sun for a slight tan (or burn) in Bridie's case:( We miss them so much since they moved to California. So glad we have all stayed in touch!

Piano Receital

James had a piano receital! He has been taking lessons from Mrs. Goltiao for the past 4 years! Wow, how time flies. I used to have him practice his lessons after school, but I found last year that he did so much better practicing in the morning before school. He loves playing piano, like his sister Kaitlynn:) maybe in a few more years he'll be as good as her too!

2010 BBCS Graduation

Kaitlynn has had her last day of High School! We are so proud of her! She graduates June 7th! YEAH!!!
